Belzoni, Mississippi
I would just like to say that iam a big fan of chisal plowing. I have a grahm chisal plow that really tears the ground up. I figure my chisal plow is pretty effective as long as it is bringing up big clods of dirt. The ground down here has gotten two tough to subsoil but the chisal plow is really tearing it up. I have chisaled a good bit this year. It really does a good job of turning corn residue under. I disked the corn fields and then chisaled and it did great. I say as long as it is going deeper than a field cultivator than i believe it is worth it. A chisal plow has got to be pulled deep now.
