west central IL.

Access to more satellite signals

The StarFireâ„¢ 3000 Receiver has access to the latest satellite signals. This receiver is compatible with the United States satellite constellation (GPS), offering L1, L2, L2C, and L5 satellite signals, as well as the Russian satellite constellation (GLONASS), offering G1 and G2 satellite signals. GLONASS is included in base at no additional charge and is only compatible with an RTK activation until early 2011. At that time GLONASS will be compatible with SF1 and SF2.
I copied this from the John Deere website, it said it better than I could.
