Subject: AL or Raven AutoSteer, which is better?

Eastern Iowa
I have a customer looking for AutoSteer on a JD 8420 not ATR. He wants to use it to plant in the Spring and tillage in the Fall. Which system will work the best for the money?
AL Edge & Paradyme on WAAS $15275
AL Edge & Paradyme on Omnistar HP/XP $1800
AL Edge & OnTrac on Omnistar HP/XP $11000
or
Raven Cruizier & Smartsteer WAAS $6220
Raven Cruizier & Smart Trax 3D WAAS $8850
Raven Cruizier & Smart Trax 3D Omnistar HP/XP $14500
I think these prices should be close?

The AL would give this customer the option to use his display as a yield monitor, currently has a PF 3000 and the ability to add planter row shut offs or sparyer shut offs.

Will the ParaDyme on a WAAS signal perform as well as the Raven Smart Trax on Omnistar?

I have expierence with the OnTrac and believe that it will work fine for Tillage on a WAAS signal, but for planting Omnistar or RTK would be the way to go.

I know someone will chim in about adding the greenstar into this senerio, they have poor support in this area, and I don't support that brand. Buy were you can get dealer support.

Looking for some good opinions as I do not have much wheel time with auto steer systems and looking to suite my customer with the best and most economical option

Thanks
