Subject: RE: 1660 vs 9610

Renville Minnesota

Back in LATE 80's  (1989)    the first green combine showed up on the farm.    Always ran 2 combines.....   9600 ran along side 1688 for 3 years.     Purty much same capacity's.

This was Corn and soys.......   Ive alway's heard a conventional has the upper hand in cereals, if for nothing else, saving straw.

 IMO:  a 9610 would smoke a 1660

BTW:  Went through 3 different 9600's, got out of green when the 2388's went online (smaller, lighter, simpler, same capacity as 96xx deere), now run a 585 lex and an 8010......
