| I would make the trade, you will gain a lot from the newer style head, and not spend money on your older one. Hydraulic adjustable deck plates are nice, the poly doesn't rust. Contour of the poly can cause stalks to hang up and lay on the head. Gearboxs hold up very well, the slip clutch on the auger drive needs a little re-working. Left side U-joint needs replaced yearly, or more often if worked hard. Be aware of the two different roll choices. Might call 800 327 5936 and see what they currently have on hand. | |
