We run an R62 with 30.5's behind a 6-30 head just fine - in fact, there is more than enough room. Even Gleaner's latest and greatest Super 7 series is the exact same physical size as our R62, 'cept for the larger hopper extension.

And again, not everyone runs big floaters in mud like you do in KANSAS.

There is still a huge market for 6-30 heads in places like this. I know of no 8 row heads and only 2 12 rows in this area. Most everyone is pushing 6 rows on class 5 or 6 machines. There is a LOT of HM corn put up around here. You get in high yielding 25-30% corn on slopes and a 6 row is about all you want on a class 6.

Any barbs I throw at you are fully justified.
