SE South Dakota | First the JD tractor out in the field then now this Deere loader, man are we seeing a convert!
Took a little "tour" yesterday hunting up truck radiator repairs, really fun on a Saturday, then finally new radiator and truely 80% of the combines out there running were JD. Found it a bit interesting.
Marc over at Cargill they have a bucket on their loader that you should look at. Six buckets and a semi is loaded. It is unusual in that the tip point is actually part of the bucket assembly. This makes it have a much longer reach. I think it was on a Deere loader, as well.
Btw I'm with collegeboy on this one. When it is bean combining time, not much else matters! Corn can "wait", beans like to be harvested. I've been told "You northerner's are in too big of a hurry!" There is a reason for that, it snows!
Be safe, Jim J | |
