We pull a crumbler with a 3 bar coil tine harrow behind our disk. Does a nice job.
In my mind yes a true tandem is an expensive disk with shallow concave blades and a shallow angle on the gangs.
Old Massey disks had adjustable gang angles so all it would take to make one of those into a "true tandem" is some new blades.
Is a true tandem the same as a disk?
