North Central Indiana | Bought a tractor trailer combo, '99 Volvo and '07 Wilson. The tractor has a Fuller 9 speed trans. It's a little awkward to shift into 8th and 9th. Didn't seem to notice when I test drove it, but don't think I made it to 8 since I drove it on country roads. Seem to have to push it pretty hard to the right to find the place where it will go into gear. Looked under the cab and noticed that the shifter make a 90 to the left for about 12" and then a 90 back for 4" before it hooks to the shifter on the top of the tranny. Is there an adjustment to this shifter setup?? Any tips will be appreciated. | |
