Not sure about in recent times. In ancient history some Shaffer One ways had oil bath. I am not sure they made a offset or tandem disc with oil bath.

I do not feel your pain any more. We use to disc 2-3 times. because of bearing issues, spent more capital on differing equipment. now the disc is 'maybe' used once.

I think that side force and dirt has a lot to do with bearing failure. I have a Sunflower soil finisher front disc [little cut] that covers X,000 never had a front disc bearing failure.. that same bearing on the back crumbler, well we care extras.
