Pulaski, TN | Thanks to all who gave advice on how to remove the starter on my 86 S-10. I did just like you said and got it fixed. HOWEVER, this has to be the most complicated and difficult job I have tackled in a long time just to replace a starter. You can't get your hand to anything, a universal joint metric socket set is a must, along with prybars and many 1/2" drive extensions. And, while I'm venting, who thought up the 4wd shifting? There, I feel better, sorry been a hard day. | |
