Just bought a 2010 2500HD GMC with 6.0 gas and 6 speed auto... Pulls almost as good as the old 3500, 8.1 Allison sitting beside it in the yard. The 6.0 Averages about 9.6 mpg pulling 10000# at 65 mph running with it locked in 5th gear. Gets around 16 and a half mpg running empty at 70-75 mph. Don't want anyone's #2 oil burning pickup truck, don't care who builds it.
