Subject: Re: kongslide grain vac parts

Oxford County, ON
We had the fan go out on our 700 a few years ago before we moved up to the 1000. They also told us it would be 7K get it fixed; we were told they send it somewhere in the States to get them rebuilt. We decided to do it ourselves and it was still going strong when we sold it. It is a time consuming and delicate job to rebuild it. You have to be very gentle with the fan blade sections so they stay balanced, but they all go on a keyway so it isn't rocket science if you mark each section as you take it off and put them back on in the same order with the new parts as required.
