I will contract 70-80% of my production if the price is right. I am currently at 30-40% contracted because the basis in this area is terrible (-.35-.45/bu) under DEC. Lately Chicago has been doing better and I have some sell orders in if it hits $4.06/bu locally. Should have taken more basis contracts back in Jan/Feb when I could have got .25-.35 over Dec. Isn't hindsight a wonderful thing.
