E.Central MN | From an export position the US has re-opened a lot of the markets that got closed just when the livestock guys needed it the most in 08/09. Not saying it couldn't be closed again if the Chinese and Russians decide its costing them too much to buy US product, but I don't see it happening in the near term. On the other hand, we are in an election year so any kind of absolutely stupid action coming out of Washington that negatively affects trade is possible. | |
