Subject: RE: heat delay in pumpkins

Southwest Michigan
I am in Southwest Michigan and I have the same thing. It was very hot when the female flowers should be forming. I am not sure wether this late surge will make up for what was lost. Defenitely not a bust but I think production will be down somewhat. With pumpkins I think every year will present something.

I have had my best year with weed control and the rain came at the right time so it defenitly could have been worse.
