last year was the first year i had to file a 2290. i believe it was due nov. 30 went to tag a truck i bought in may today. was told i needed a 2290 before i could tag it because the bill of sale was over 60 days old. is this correct??
if so, can i go ahead and get a 2290 filled out for my other truck so i dont have to make two trips to the IRS office this fall??
