Amherst WI | If I figure $3K on parts a year for my 1460 running 650 acres a year I am at $4.61 a acre if I only do my own harvesting. 3K is towards the higher side of what I spend on parts a year, some years it may be 1K other may be 4K but I would rather over shoot it. I usually do 100-200 acres of custom work too, but I didn't include that in my $4.61 since it is not a garuntee. I want a newer combine, but I really don't know what I would gain, espiecally when we can't keep the grain away from this one. | |
