| The biggest fertilizer supplier in this area dropped their anhydrous ammonia. Claimed it was an agronomy decision but rumor has it the insurance took too much profit out of it? Either way I am looking to put on some 28% with the planter. I already use 10-34-0 as a pop-up and pull a 1650 gallon tank similar to a 4-wheel steer yetter, so i can handle lots of product. My idea was to mix the 10-34-0 with the Nitrogen and put it 2x2. On my manure ground an average analysis would be 140-50-100 from the manure, would like to get to 190-80-100 by supplementing with liquid. Then applying dry in the fall to the rest of the acres so I could run the same mix through the planter on everything. How common of a practice is it to mix the 2 liquid fertilizers? Would appreciate any advice. | |
