nc ks | I don't know that much about chickens or their litter but cattle manure can be a big source of weed seeds especially if weeds go to seed on the stockpiles. However, it might be like the wheat guys who have rye in their fields that always say they got it from the seed cleaners. Funny thing is the rest of us get our seed cleaned at the same places and don't have rye, just the same guys over and over. He may have let pigweeds seed and not know it. I have seen them come up late and get no taller than 4 or 5" and have millions of seed on each plant. | |
