western mn | The yield drag i mentioned was going back to before we all had RR beans, our early beans were yielding in the low 60s, on a good year, and our later ones were 69 at the best, but cysts brought us down more and more, and the RR beans in a low to mid 1 range have never gotten close to that, low 50s, and yes we can use conventional herbisides, just as is on corn, but why pay the tech fee if it doesnt work and the reps saying next year every year we will have something better, never panned out. I am sorry to hear the LL beans didnt pan out, at Farmfest, i heard they had the best chance at good yields, and each year is different, but wouldnt that be the same path as gly ? | |
