Subject: PFAdvantage with FMD GPS?

Central Nebraska
We currently have a PFAdvantage in our 2166 for yield mapping. Last year we fed it GPS signal with an Outback S and it worked fine. We also have a Trimble FMD steering the combine. I would like to eliminate the Outback from the combine and feed the PFAdvantage GPS signal from the NEMA out on the Trimble Nav controller....But I have a concern. Several years ago we used the NEMA out on the Nav controller to feed GPS to the stock AFS (YM2000) monitor only to find that all our data was corrupt (lesson learned in checking more than once!). The maps were all available but a 240 acre field appeared as several thousand acres and everything was upside down. Ag Leader suspected that the Nav Controller was sending a GPS string that was too long and the AFS YM2000 could not handle it. Does anybody have any experience with using a PFAdvantage with a Trimble gps stream?
