West KY, Miss River County | As Red/Green claims, the dome has been over extreme West KY all summer also. Good start with good looking crops-just no rain and hot weather. What was expected to be 160-180 corn is manifesting itself to be 120-130. Beans? Over half of my double crop beans are in full bloom-Gp 5.6. Thankfully we have had about 1.5" rain over the last 2 weeks. Still having hot weather with no more rain in the 10 day forecast. If the blooms don't abort, there is still good potential. |
