northwest tennessee | We have a big white oak that had that happen to I bet 12 or 15 years ago. It is still alive but is slowly going to get it. It has started to rot down the area where it was hit and is probably getting weak in the heart of it but is still alive and leaves out every year. I said something to a forestry man one time about it and he said that tree could out last you. | |
