West Central Alberta Coldest, wettest edge | Sorry to hear about the unfortunate weather up there, I went through in mid July, didn't look very promising then. But now a trucker who goes through there regularly is telling me that the peace country has the best hay crops ever, seems unlikely, is that true?
Always one extreme or the other, I remember seeing pictures of peace farmers putting duals on every piece of harvest equipment a few years ago because it was so wet. You have some beautiful farmland though, makes me jealous to see all that flat black land. |
