We took a steam engine train ride from Duluth to Two Harbors. Route was mostly flat but it rained hard that morning and after leaving Two Harbors, the engine couldn't get enough traction to get going and they had to sand the tracks. It was unbelievable the amount of smoke and soot that engine put out, surprised that the EPA didn't shut them down for pollution issues.
Learned something new about trains the other day
