Nevada, Iowa
I think Shoup has them and I think Lankota does too. I found a used Deere locally and it appears to add about 4 inches between the feederhouse and the auger pan. That width seems to work very well in my application. I am running a 643 on a 9550 with 24.5 x 32 rubber on the front. If you go with the Deere wedge, be prepared to do some cutting and carving to make it work. It was designed for a 90 series head and won't just "bolt up" on a 40 series without modification.
