Wawanesa, Manitoba | I have a wave now and really like it. I had an original style for years I wore and I think it saved me a smashed up hand one day. I was playing with a loose belt on our grain screener one afternoon and suddenly I had two fingers caught in the belt (yes I am a dummy - it was running). The belt was loose enough it stopped, but the pulley kept turning trying to wrap my hand around the shaft. The harder I pulled, the harder it pulled, and I was alone of course. After what seemed an eternity (likely about 15 seconds), I Grabbed the Leatherman off my belt, got the blade open and cut the belt off to free my fingers. Needless to say, I have always wore one since. | |
