Subject: Re: Hydraulic requirements for JD 1770NT planter

NE Iowa
I pull a 1770NT 16 row CCS with hydraulic drives & Esets(thus 2 vac motors) with a 4560 Deere. Deere rates this tractor at either 26.5 or 30gpm and I didn't have any trouble with it this spring. I thought I may have to shift down a gear and keep the RPM's up and that didn't prove to be the case either. Ran along about 16-1700RPM's. Without the CCS option you'll have no prolbem.
