Leesburg, Ohio | If I had the attitude that all my suppliers were out to screw me, I'd be either getting new suppliers, or considering the idea that maybe I needed a really big change of attitude about life.
I don't know about exact timing of cropping schedules in other parts of the country, but buying supplies now for next spring's crop doesn't come anywhere near 18 months on my calendar. I do have a hard time ordering seed for next year's crop before seeing how this year's hybrids perform, but our dealers are good about letting us put in a "place-holder" order, and then switching varieties next winter after harvest. | |
