NE South Dakota Clark, SD | I would really be scared to use G* Surface Water Pro for tiling. The local AMS guy told me JD's stance is "we do not guaranty the accuracy of Surface Water Pro for subterranean tiling". With all the integration and automation they can do, they must not feel their software is good enough at this time. I had a customer buy a plow from me, yes I do sell and service tile plows and controls, and the local JD dealer installed SWP on their 2600. After 2 days of messing with it, we found out it is manual control only. They are now using Pipe FM and love it. I am pretty sure I talked to JRthefarmer at Dakota Fest. So I am partly responsible for this thread. I would love to sell AGPS Pipe FM or Pro to everyone, but I know that will not happen. Just take the best piece of advise I have seen on this message board. Buy a product that will work for you from a dealer that will support your investment. |
