Subject: Starfire harness wierd end.

Bainville, MT
I have a 9550 harness that I am trying to get in the field for yield mapping. When I go to the right (passenger side of the grain tank and get the wire harness that is supposed to go to the Starfire reciever. I undo the zip ties and uncoil the harness. Get it up to the cab where you mount the reciever on the front. Try to hook it in to the Starfire ITC reciever that I have. However, this is where my problem arises. The end that is on the harness of the combine (not the reciever) is differnent. It is the black connector male end that is the same as the black end that goes into the Original Greenstar display. Not a normal Starfire end. It's like this combine has the wrong end on it.

This is the only 50 series combine that I have seen with this end.

Looked at two other 50 series combines that have correct male end. This one is different.

So is there a starfire adaptor harness that goes from black original display male to starfire male or female.

Mike
