An idea of its use would help here. How many hours a week are you mowing? How big an area?

I would look at a used Exmark. New ones are considerably more than $7K, but unless you are mowing 20+ hours a week you sure wouldn't need a new one. Exmark is what 90% of the professionals around here seem to use. They use them all day 5-6 days a week and they will last several seasons. I have an Exmark 52" walk behind and it is great. A very simple machine to work on, everything is pretty much out in the open and easy to get to. I love the high blade speed it has since I run a multch kit. Have not picked up grass or leaves in 2 years. I can have 2-3" of dry leaves in the fall and it multches them to nothing. It cuts great, and believe me I would know. I live in a subdivision on a golf course and have to "keep up with the Joneses" lol
