I've googled & can't seem to find much of what I'm looking for. I want a small power convertor capable of converting 120 V ac to 12 V dc & delivering at 10 amps. I see a lot of the smaller ones like you'd use to run those coolers that normally plug into auto cigarette lighters. But, it appears they only deliver 5-6 amps. I'm going to mount a 12V dc car-type radio in a building & want an ac power supply for it. I suspect that 5-6 amps would be on the short side & possibly overload the convertor. I also find some the the larger ones run in the $5-600 range, which is prohibitive for this project.
