i have done it with tank still in tractor not as nice as when tanks are out but it can be done if tiresd out far enough. but if you drop tank dont clean next to crosover hose till drained it help diresct the fuel to bucket. it as helps if you put a nice size screwdriver in the liitle tank side if hose and point it towards a bucket most will make it in it . good luck
