Subject: Input cost for rice?

NC Ind
I farm in the Mid-West and I'm not familiar with the input cost per acre regarding rice. I know that there are newer hybrid rice varieties available but I'm not familiar with total input cost of seed, chemicals, fertilizer, machinery etc. I have an opportunity to manage and farm a large acreage outside of the US. It's not an area where it would compete with the US rice farmers. Do any of you rice farmers have ideas on cost/acre? Also, what rotation crops do you use with rice? I've seen soy rotations, but I'm not sure this would work in the area that I am looking at.

Thanks,
DIN
