SW Ohio | I'd consult two web sites NADA and RV consumer's group. RV group gives independent ratings and resale values. There are many pitfalls in "camper" buying. Their guides help minimize your chances of a bad experience. Point out things you may not think of. It will cost you a membership but worth the money.

You are looking in the range that I hope to some day. I have already narrowed down my choice though. Foretravel is a high end diesel pusher (safe configuration). They are about $400,000 new but older ones (2000) go for less than $100,000 on eBay sometimes. May take a little patience to find one since not as many were made. I think you would have a lot more RV for your money. They define quality.
