Subject: Mowing in a steep ditch with axle duals?

SC IL
I have a road ditch that I am attempting to mow where I would be driving in the center of the ditch while the duals would be on top of a side bank on each side of the tractor. The side banks of the ditch are so steep that when I try to mow down the center of the ditch the axle duals will be touching the ground propelling the tractor while the inside wheels wont be touching the ground (just spinning in the air). Do you guys think I would be putting too much stress on the duals holding up the entire rear end of the tractor while mowing or am I worrying for nothing? The tractor is a JD 4440.

Thanks
