That could be a very good point. Maybe each "sausage" (I like the terminology choice. Seems fitting to the style of the bag) has different grades or moisture points of corn and they won't be removing the corn from outside in.
My curiosity got the best of me and just had to ask. Sealed lips never caused answers to stir.
