Subject: Will be harvesting 27-30% corn next Monday!

South Central Kansas
Here in Kingman county Kansas we will be rolling next week. The local feedlot was planning for labor day weekend back in July, I called yesterday and they have had enough people call them and tell them they will be ready next week that they are gearing up for Monday! I hand shelled some dryland today that was 19.5 moisture and 56#, so I think the test weight has hung in there well with the triple digits. Everything is burning up fast, we are really dry. The high moisture corn will all be irrigated. We averaged 210 bu last year, and I think we are looking at 190-200 hopefully. The dryland we are hoping for 100 bu.
