North Central Illinois
The wild card for us in my immediate area is the 20% to 40% chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms around here and mainly to the north thru out the week. Obviously thunderstorms in ones immediate area will cause temps not to be as hot but also the outflow from storms to our north could inhibit daytime heating as well. That would be great. I think when you get south of I-80 there is little chance of precip or reduced temps from precip in other areas. I-80 has kind of been the line of demarkation between warm-hot and hot -really hot for several weeks. This has also been kind of a line for rain or no rain the last couple of weeks. Should prove to be a very interesting week. What are temps like in your areas Tara?
