Subject: RE: STL corn damage

USA
Pillsbury had the facility at Sauget before ADM got it.

Bulk Services has a location on Rt 3 at Granite City and one on the Mo side in STL. Granite Grain was the first to be at the Granite Cty Bulk Services location. Then after several years ADM got the lease away from Granite Grain. For a while while Granite Grain and ADM shared the Granite City location while they were fueding over the lease. One week 2 days Granite Grain would dump corn, ADM would take corn the other 3 days. The next week they would flip flop on the days. Finally ADM got Granite Grain booted out and went to using the Granite City location. Granite Grain then only un loaded Grain at it's Cahokia location. After several years ADM gave up the Bulk Services facility at Granite City and Granite Grain took it back over for several years, before they gave it up for good. Tate and Lyle took it over and are still there today. Bulk Service Facility in MO is used mainly by CHS and a few others to unload NGMO specialty grains.

Granite Grain was sold several years ago to CGB.

The former owner of Granite Grain is bulding a new facility south of Granite Grain and is supposed to be up and running sometime this fall.

Going to have 9 places to haul corn in the STL market when American Grain gets fired up.

ADM 2 locations@ Sauget and STL, American Grain@ Cahokia, CGB ( Granite Grain) @ Cahokia, Cargill @ESTL, Center Ethanol @ Sauget, Abengoa Ethanol@ Granite City, Tate &Lyle @ Granite City Bulk Services location, and CHS and others at Bulk Services STL location.
