Subject: wheat prices

South central kansas

I find it somewhat amazing that with a parabolic move in wheat over the last several weeks, that the outcome(todays trade, limit down) would be any suprise to anyone that follows the wheat trade. WE have been trading uncertainity for the last several weeks and with the "official" word that exports have been suspended in some FSU countries. the only question remains is how much have they been hurt and if so, will they have to import??, if at all, and some of that uncertainity has been removed from the table, for this moment in time, but what will the future hold in terms of perceptions going forward???. Will La Nina have an impact on USA production going forward?? and if it does, will it be enough to offset the increase in acres?? and what about the slowdown that is occurring in the US economy, not to mention, the rest of the world??.

These are just some of the questions I ask myself everyday(concerning wheat) and over the last several weeks, some of them change daily!!.
