West Ky | Well I hope some of that rain drifts here. We need some bad! It is over a hundred here and with the humidity they are saying that the heat index is around 116 degrees.
Their is a big difference between dry heat and humid heat. I'll take 110 degrees all day long as long as it is a dry heat. A couple of years back it got up to 105-107 degrees with the humidity around 30% I thought it felt great! It was a little hot but it was not suffocating. A little later the temps dropped to around 90 and the humidity climbed back up and it felt hotter then than it was when it was 107.
It is really bad outside right now. High temps and high humidity. | |
