Subject: Making it hard for wheat harvest.

Osakis, MN
Here in Central MN, most are hoping for a couple dry days like you guys are talking about!  Picking up medium square bales of straw last night on wheat stubble with the fifth wheel trailer on the pickup, it felt like I was pulling a full trailer across the field it was so soft, but I didn't have 1 bale on yet.  Tires on truck were sinking in 3 or 4 inches on high ground.  Didn't dare stop the truck going uphill.  I will not complain about the rain after the last couple of summers though.  A week of low humidity and dewpoints with a 15 to 20 mph wind would be a welcome sight. At least for now the crops have all the water they need.
