Northern KS | We do not use them but if we had cost share from our NRD they would be easier to convince in to buying. What I have read about UNL using them, they are a no brainer. The ones that UNL was promoting were not wireless. There are wireless ones available but as everything much higher priced.
UNL blows anything that I have seen done here in Kansas out of the water on this subject. They have created charts for all the different crop stages and how much water is used/needed etc. Some individuals at UNL have went to alot of work on this and should be commended.
