| Here a few pics I have taken over the past few weeks.
First is my new crop consultant. She seems to be able find a plant bug in every feild. She was out chasing some white butterfly's as I was getting a pivot primed up.
Next are some shot I took at the terral feild day was went to last of july. Man it was hot, but they took good care of us. Put us up in a room, fed us and took us to the casino.
Looked like the guys that had the job of cutting and shucking the ears in the first two pics had a hot job on there hands.
Next two pics I shot from the 4710 while watching a storm brew up in the east and heading my way. You know what they say when you get a storm out of the east, its a toad strangler. Because it has to leave in the same direction it came. Man did it drop a lot of rain, wind and some hail.
Last is a pic of a st5458 cotton plant off to itself. I think we are planting too think. This plant is just over waist high, about 4' around and has 148 bolls on it. and still have room for some more in the top. This is going to me molly's entry in the fair. Unless someone accidently runs over it, we hope not.
Last three is of my lastest equipment purchase. Could not get the bank to make me loan for it though. It is a 100% scratch built 9996 cotton picker. Been on order for about 2 years.
Thanks for looking, any questions just fire away.
