Spray the darn things, I'd even throw in some Fungacide due to the damage to the plants. As cheap as chemicals are to kill bugs,(as long as you can spray it) it does not take much of a yeild bump to pay for the trip. I have to get prices but last year it cost me $7/acre for Warrior and fuel for the trip across the field. All I needed was one more bushel per acre to pay for the pass...........I am assuming you have a pesticide application liscence and a sprayer.
