mascoutah, IL | Granite grain in St. Louis is now only taking corn under 3% damage so basicly they are not taking any more corn till harvest. Not sure we hauled a load this year less than 3%. Best part is I have started to see a few diplodia probelms around here. 6 inches of rain in the last 8 days with a lot more predicted is not going to help the problem. The elevators may be waiting to blend old damaged corn with new damaged corn. | |
