Subject: Re: Agboy, Tedbear, and others... Trimble 252 receiver configuration

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
I'm running a 332 with my Insight and Autopilot. The setup for the 252 is the same but different connectors. The 332 or the 252 communicate with the Autopilot Nav controller. The Insight plugs into the Nav Controller harness at the point marked display. This takes a special cable that we just happen to make due to the high price from Trimble.

The Insight and Nav controller communicate. The Insight gets the GPS second hand so to speak through the Nav Controller and not directly from the GPS receiver. The Insight communicates with the Nav Controller to pick your pattern type A, B, points etc.

The B Port will be open. In fact on mine last year I had a generic Trimble cable hooked to the B Port just in case I had yet another need for it. I was getting some interference and so I unplugged it. In my case since the 332 receiver is in the cab, weather is not a consideration. For your 252 which will have the open B Port outdoors it will be wise to use the Dust Plug that came with the unit.
